Ontario Police Services Boards have been attempting to coordinate their efforts in terms of bargaining. The Police Association of Ontario is very aware of this and are concerned about the process. Please read the attached documentation which I am sure you will find interesting!!!

After much discussion and debate City of Guelph  Councillors gave final approval to a $34 million dollar plan to renovate the current Guelph Police Service building. Construction is likeley to start next spring with a completion date sometime in 2017.

As most are well aware by now, Chief Larkin will be returning to the Waterloo Regional Police Service as their Chief. The date for his return to Waterloo has been set as August 31st 2014.

The "Sirens For Life " Challenge has again kicked off as of July 1st. The competition goes until the end of August and has the Guelph Police Service, Guelph Fire Department, G.W.E.M.S, O.P.P and St. John's Ambulance facing off against one another to see who can contribute the most blood donations.
